We just released our Party Control E.P. a couple days ago. we’re really excited to see how the kids take to it. Alex Suarez from Cobra Starship produced it, so hopefully some of their magic rubbed off on us
What goes into a Thrash Unreal live set?
Blood, Sweat, and Rock n’ Roll. every single night. playing live is what we love to do, so whether anybody likes it or not, we give every show all of our heart. and it’s something i think our true fans really appreciate.
MA’s music scene is far superior than that of NY’s. What’s your take on the scene up in Worcester?
Worcester has some great things going on, there’s obviously Four Year Strong. but you have other great up and coming bands like Lions Lions, and Teamwork. but we’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of the Las Vegas scene which was very fundamental in our beginning. to share the same stomping grounds as bands like The Higher, Panic! at The Disco, Escape The Fate just to name a few, was very supportive in making this band a reality
What kind of response have you gotten from your EP, “Party Control”?
So far, The EP is doing really good. we’ve always been very organic in the evolution of the sound of this band. and with this EP we were finally able to mix all of our past elements in one cohesive record. so hopefully our fans will al find something they love about it
How would you describe your fans in 6 syllables?

If Thrash Unreal could choose one place to eat at for the rest of their time together (kind of like a Denny’s All Nighter sort of thing), where would it be?
Red Robin! it’s amazing! they have endless fries, food for the vegan and vegetarian portion of our group. and you only need to eat once a day!
Give us one of your favorite moments while on tour?
Breaking down in Boca Raton, FL. it was 100 degrees and we had to fix our fuel pump. but we met some of the nicest people through that experience. and if it wasn’t for them we could have burned alive or been eaten by gators.

What’s one artist you guys think people should listen to? Any locals?
Gatsby’s American Dream. they are over and done with, but WOW! they were one of the best bands to ever rock a stage
What do you have to say about the music industry as it stands? How about auto-tune and Warped Tour artists such as The Millionaires?
Auto tune is cool, The Millionaires are fun, Warped Tour is staying strong. but what happened to Rock and Roll? some people don’t like us because i don’t have a pretty voice, but that’s ok… cause we like it rough. we like it real.
You guys have been lucky enough to be sponsored by GK and SJC (you deserve it). How does it feel?
It feels good that successful companies believe in us enough to endorse us. plus it’s just an honor to represent such amazing products
What keeps you guys sane while on the road?
Sanity does not apply to us. although alcohol and drugs sure help to smooth things out
What can the world expect from Thrash Unreal in the rest of 09 and into ‘10? Will TU throw down till old age sets in?
We are pushing this EP and always working on new material. hopefully we can get a full length finsished for summer 2010. TU will def last till old age, Keith Richards won’t have shit on us
