Pop lovers, get ready to fall in love with Friday Night Fever. Straight out of the Midwest, the band has brought synthesizers, breakdowns, and ballads together for a sound nothing short of a party (for your ears). Sure, winter’s here for most of us, but FNF’s self-released EP, appropriately titled “TGIF” is sure to bring back the days of summer all over again. The band’s energy, in conjunction with painfully contagious lyrics and fearlessness in terms of creativity, makes Friday Night Fever well worth listening to.

So first off, how’d you guys come up with Friday Night Fever? Any connection with Saturday Night Fever?
NOT REALLY, FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER SOUNDS FUN AND JUST IS A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF OUR SOUND.
What made you guys want to go into music?
WE HAVE ALL BEEN IN THE SCENE SINCE WE WERE YOUNG, AND WE KIND OF JUST ALWAYS KNEW THIS IS WHAT WE WANTED.
HOW WE ALL ENDED UP TOGETHER IS A DIFFERENT STORY.
If each of you could only listen to one artist for the rest of your lives, who would you choose?

You guys have acomplished a lot as a band, from being #1 on purevolume.com’s unsigned band list to features in AP magazine? What’s next for FNF?
WE PLAN ON DOING ALOT OF TOURING, IN DECEMBER WE ARE RECORDING WITH GEOFF ROCKWELL.
WE WANNA HIT EVERY MAJOR CITY NEXT YEAR
Give us one of your favorite tour memories so far. I’m sure you’ve got a ton.

THE NEXT WILL BE A POWER-BALLAD, THE NEXT WILL HAVE AN R&B FEEL.
ITS REALLY JUST ALOT OF EXPERIMENTING. EACH SONG HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO OFFER.
WE WRITE WHATS ON OUR MIND AT THE TIME.
EVERYONE IN THE BAND HAS DIFFERENT INFLUENCES, I THINK THAT WILL BE PRETTY APPARENT WHEN YOU HEAR THE NEW MUSIC.
What’s the best thing about the Fort Wayne/Indiana scene?
RECENTLY WE HAVE HAD SOME GOOD BANDS COME THROUGH OUR AREA, CASH CASH, VALENCIA, EVERY AVENUE.
WE’VE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO SHARE THE STAGE WITH THEM.
