Are you a hardcore music fan that has become disappointed with the incorporation of auto-tune or too much singing than Peroria, Az hardcore/metal rockers Before You Fled are the band for you. With a gnarly live set, BR000TAL breakdowns, and angery music that makes you want to beat a hooker(which we don’t allow) then go check them out. BYF is a name to recognize know as give them a year or two and they could be Arizona’s next big Hardcore act following the footsteps of The Word Alive and Blessthefall.

Hey guys! How’s everything going?
Everything is swell!! Thanks for taking the time to interview us! We really appreciate the opportunity!
You guys are from the great Arizona scene. What’s your favorite Arizona band?
Our favorite Arizona band would probably have to be The Word Alive! We’re really good friends with them and always enjoyed sharing the stage with them. They have done a lot for us and we are thankful for that. Be sure to check them out!
What artists have influenced each member the most?
Juan: Bands that have influenced me throughout the years would be Killswitch Engage and Everytime I Die!
Bear: Some of my biggest influences in my music are definitely I Killed the Prom Queen, Parkway Drive, Bleeding Through, and The Ghost Inside just to name a few!
Rafey: Parkway Drive, Haste The Day, August Burns Red, Saosin…just to name a few off of my list!
Kris: I would have to go with For the Fallen Dreams, The Devil Wears Prada, and August Burns Red!
Erik: August Burns Red is one of my all time biggest influences, as well as Foo Fighters, AFI and A Day to Remember!
Any upcoming tours for the fall?
Nothing that we can speak much of just yet. We’re working hard to get out of town ASAP! We will have more details shortly!
What do you think of bands like Brokencyde and Jeffree Star? Good, Bad, awful?
In the words of the great Charles Barkley, “That’s terrible…just terrible.” But in all honesty, to each his own.
Which member has the best stage presence?
Um…that’s a hard one. We all pretty much give it all we’ve got when we are on stage…definite SWEAT FEST! Rafey does some gnarly jumps, Bear is the only one brave enough to do a guitar spin and Juan just straight up stares kids down….haha
Who would win in a cock fight; Craig Mabbit or Oli Sykes?
Definitely Oli Sykes because he’s in a much more brooootal metal band.
Why should somebody come out to a Before You Fled show?
Basically, to have fun! We love it when everyone at our shows has a good time. Our live set is definitely full of energy, so those who aren’t into stage dives and head walks can still get their money’s worth when they come out. We hear we are a fun band to watch live!!
You get one celebrity to be in a music video, who is it?
We’d probably have to have Rick Moranis in a music video. He hasn’t really done much since the Ghostbusters and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. He deserves another shot at the big time….haha!
If ya’ll weren’t a band, what would ya’ll be?
We would probably either be in other bands or doing something boring like going to school. Who does that anyways? We kid, we kid! Yeah we’d probably still be pursuing music, just in other projects or what not.
Does God Wear Gucci?
We know, we know….you want us to say, “nope, The Devil Wears Prada.” Haha…God might wear Gucci though. He is the Supreme Being of all the Universe…so I’m sure he can afford it and wears whatever he wants! Haha.
